Made 100% freshly in Lebanon, our Rosemary Soap is cold pressed with the finest home grown olives. It deeply cleanses and purifies the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed, cleansed and moisturised. It is hand crafted with Naturally extracted rosemary oil and rosemary leaves.
It is made from the following ingredients:
Olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, lye, purified water, natural rosemary oil, rosemary leaves, mica based earth pigments. The Bar is 4oz roughly 100 grams.

Olive Oil is used in our soaps as the main base and is harvested from our family-owned olive groves which date back between 1000 -  6000 years old and are adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea. 

The fragrance of rosemary is deeply herbal, with woody undertones. It's reminiscent of walking through a Mediterranean herb garden, where the scent of fresh herbs fills the air.

Why Rosemary oil? - Rosemary oil offers benefits such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help with acne, ageing, and skin tone. It can also help to balance oily skin, reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, and even potentially lighten dark spots. Specific benefits include: Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory, acne treatment through the combat of bacteria and inflammation, Anti-ageing through fighting free radicals and improving circulation, therefore reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Improves skin tone and texture by protecting against oxidative stress and environmental damage, Reduces puffiness and dark circles through the stimulation of circulation, balances oily skin by regulating sebum production making it a great option for those with oily or acne-prone skin and may lighten dark spots and blemishes.

Why Rosemary Leaves? - Rosemary leaves offer various benefits for skin due to their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. These properties can help reduce inflammation, fight acne, improve skin elasticity, and protect against sun damage.
Rosemary is rich in antioxidants, such as carnosic acid, which helps protect skin from damage caused by free radicals and UV radiation. Rosemary contain rosmarinic acid, which is known to boost collagen production, leading to improved skin elasticity and firmness. Rosemary can act as a natural astringent, helping to tone and tighten the skin, reducing the appearance of pores. Why cold pressed? - Well, Cold processed soap is known for its mild and gentle cleansing properties, making it ideal for sensitive and dry skin. Unlike commercial soaps that often contain harsh detergents, cold process soap does not strip away the skin's natural oils.

Why Coconut Oil? - CLEANSING - Coconut oil offers several potential benefits for the skin due to its moisturising, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. It can help hydrate dry skin, reduce inflammation, and potentially aid in wound healing. It can be used as a gentle and effective makeup remover, breaking down even waterproof makeup.

Why Castor Oil? - LATHERING - Castor oil offers several potential benefits for the skin, including moisturising, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties, which can help with dry skin, acne, and wound healing. It's rich in ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid that can improve skin barrier function and potentially reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars. 

Why Lye? - CONVERSION OF OILS TO SOAP - Specifically sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, is a crucial ingredient in soap making because it facilitates the chemical reaction called saponification, which transforms oils and fats into soap.

Why Mica based Earth Pigments? Mica-based earth pigments are natural mineral powder, derived from the mica mineral, that are ground into a fine powder. They are used to create shimmering or iridescent effects in various applications like cosmetics, paints, and soaps. Mica is a naturally occurring mineral that can be mined or created in a lab.
